Maria Jose Lavorante is a researcher within the Research and Development Division of Renewable Energy at the Institution of Scientific and Technological Research for Defense (CITEDEF) in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and serves as Head Professor of Solids and Colloidal Chemistry at the National Defense University's Engineer Faculty. Her research spans water electrolyzers, fuel cells, dark fermentation, and conductometric titrations. Notably, from 2021 to 2024, she coordinated the "Electrolyzers for industrial use and storage" subnetwork of the CYTED "H2transel" network, leading hydrogen technology initiatives, managing multidisciplinary research projects, and evaluating subsidy selections.
